The 2026 Sporting Life 10K route remains almost entirely downhill along Yonge Street, preserving the event’s tradition of a fast, flat course that delivers plentiful personal-best opportunities for runners of all levels. Now, the start line will give you even more downhill.

Q: Am I able to get a refund after registering for this year’s Sporting Life 10K?

Sporting Life 10K is unable to offer refunds. (From the site: It is our policy that no refund of entry fees or deferrals will be issued. It is our policy that entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable to future events.)

Q: Are there pre-race shuttle buses available in 2026?

Due to parking and space constraints at Corktown Common, shuttle buses will not be offered in 2026.

Q: Where is the new Finish Line and Post-Race Celebration?

Sporting Life 10K 2026 will finish at Front Street and Bayview Avenue with the post-race celebration at Corktown Common (155 Bayview Avenue) .

Q: What are the new Bag Check policies in 2026?

For a smoother and more sustainable 10K, participants are invited to Bring Your Own Bag for bag check. Please refer to the Bag Check section for more information.

Q: How do I get home from the new post-race area at Corktown Common?

Corktown Common Park (155 Bayview Avenue) is accessible via the 501/502 Queen 503/504 King streetcars. The venue is located near the intersection of Bayview Ave and Mill Street, and is a 6 to 7-minute walk from streetcar stops at Queen St E & River Ave (501/502), King St. East & River Ave (503/504B). The nearest subway station is King station, 2KM away. Union Station is 2.5KM away for GO Train Service.

Q: Why is the Sporting Life 10K changing the route in 2026?

As the City of Toronto prepares for the FIFA World Cup at Exhibition Place, we’re taking the opportunity to refresh the race experience with a new finish line and post-race party location at Corktown Commons.

Q: What happens to my personal information when I register for this event?

When you register for the Sporting Life 10K you are registering with Race Roster who is responsible for the information you provide to them. Please review their privacy policy on how they manage your personal information.

Q: Are dogs allowed on the course?

Due to the size of the event and for the safety of all participants, we regret that non-service dogs are not permitted in the Sporting Life 10K.
